How to Record a Sale

Ring up a sale, take payment (or credit), and log it — from search to checkout.

3 min
  1. 1

Search or scan for a product

From Record Sale, search for or scan the product you're selling to add it to the cart.

  2. 2

Adjust quantity or price if needed

Tap an item in the cart to open its quantity editor. Quantities support fractions (¼, ½, ¾, 1, 1½, 2, and so on) for items sold by weight or partial units, and the price per line is editable.

The price can't be set below the product's cost price.

  3. 3

    Go to checkout

Once your cart is ready, move to checkout.

  4. 4

    Choose the payment status

Pick Paid (Full Payment), Partial (Deposit + Debt), or Pending (Full Credit Sale).

Choosing Partial or Pending makes the customer's Full Name and Phone Number required, since the remaining balance is recorded as a debt against them.

  5. 5

    Choose the payment method

Pick Cash, Bank Transfer, POS, or Card. For a Partial sale, also enter the Deposit Amount Paid.

  6. 6

    Complete the sale

Tap Complete Sale (Checkout & Record on desktop) to finish. The sale is saved and can't be edited afterward.

Kasuwa 360 doesn't support discounts, refunds, or editing a sale once it's recorded. If you need to reverse one, the only option is deleting the whole sale record.
